The assessment of tourism and sport managenet degree program student's communicative competence

Communication is undoubtedly one of the successful functioning of the organization's agents. Lithuanian organizations interest in the internal communication of the organization is growing rapidly. Many leaders felt that the organization can effectively commmunicated achieve more in less time. Meaningful communication and cooperation between people is impossible without communication. Ability to communicate — a learner's internal reasoning activity, direct the search quickly to address emerging problems of communication during the communication — is one of the areas of human communication, which everyone seems to understand well, but it is very difficult to define and explain. Communication or otherwise known as the communication — the transmission and reception process between individuals (Ratkevičienė 2000). Organization is an important phenomenon in the communication process within the organization and beyond. It is not always sufficient to distribute messages, and the organization's employees and customers and must be viewed not as a passive information—makers, but as active participants. Successful communication and active when it enjoys continuous feedback. Communication through the organization is identified and accepted in society. You could say that people today have a wide choice of ways to capture the information and tools. Effective communication is one of the companies in terms of the realization of democracy in order to ensure management transparency and accountability to the public (Paužuolienė, Trakšelys, 2009). According to Martinkus (2001), managers shape the governance structure, systems, methods and principles. From the theoretical and practical preparation, the ability to perform management functions depends on the outcome. Effective performance of the functions of the market conditions require different competencies, depending on the nature, characteristics of the organization. It is very important personal communicative competence, which affects the behavior of the communication. However, studies on the future managers (students), skills and abilities, not much. In the literature (Martinkus (2001), Bagdonienė, Hopenienė (2007), Šalaj (2004) , Kovac (2008)) and competencies and their development of theoretical aspects of the deal well. Still, it can be seen that these research areas usually adjacent to the problems of staff competency development needs of organizations in the context of the individual competency development needs while leaving a minor role. Labor problem: what characteristics distinguished students of tourism and sports management, communicative competence? The object — communicative competence of student‘s. Aim: To evaluate students' communicative competence. The results of the Master's thesis: based on data, it has emerged that the communication of Tourism and Sports management students is average and high. It was ascertained, that women's communicative capabilities have been higher than men. 20— 35 years respondents are more communicative than 20 years of age. Second-year students' communicative competence is the highest, they communicate effectively in groups
