The purpose of this study was to investigate the aerobic capacity indices during the continuously accelerating running of elite Lithuanian sprinters. The subjects were 5 male and 5 female best Lithuanian sprinters. The tracks lurch (size of the hill) always is 1%. The research is cutting off, when the exploratory refuses continue running because of exhaustion. The first (VeS1) and the second (VeS2) ventilation threshold were measured according to the equivalents of ventilation oxygen and carbon dioxide affiliation from the running speed.
