Summary Parents' opinion on peculiarities of aggressive behavior of preschool children Parents’ opinion on behavior of preschool children at home Research subject – parents’ opinion on peculiarities of aggressive behavior of preschool children. Research objective – to determine what negative behavior of preschool children is mostly displayed at home. Research tasks: 1. To determine parent’s opinion on influence of the people round about on the emotions of children. 2. To clarify parent’s opinion and views on ways of children anger display. 3. To represent parent’s opinion on the reasons of aggressiveness of their children. Hypothesis – negative behavior of children is mostly displayed more often at home than in school or other public place. Key words: children, home, behavior, parents, aggression. Target group – parents of 15 children of 4-7 years old participated in this research. Conclusions: 1. Parents’ opinion on the influence of the people round about on the mood of the child is rather diverse. Almost a half of the respondents (8) states that these people make a very great impact on child’s emotions and mood, and another half (7) states that children do not pay attention to the moods and emotions of the people around them. Children care more about their own feelings; other parents state that the preschool children are too small to understand the emotions of other people or their reasons. 2. Clarifying parents’ opinion on ways of children anger display, the majority of parents (13) states that children mostly display their anger by throwing the items, breaking them, falling and lying on the floor and screaming the cries. Only 2 respondents answered that their children did not display their emotions by throwing or breaking the items or by hysterical cry. A part of parents thinks that children sometimes display their anger by initiating the fight with other children. 3. Basing on the parents’ opinion it was determined that the mostly displayed causes of the aggressiveness of the preschool children was anger (6 respondents), 2 respondents answered that in this way children demand more attention, one respondent in each case answered that in this way children displayed their sadness, revenged the adults or showed their failure.
