Application of different training methods in developing boxers’ punching force

Work object – the influence of different explosive force training methods on the boxers’ punching force. Research hypothesis: the development of boxers’ punching force by emphasizing the force rapidity actions with rest intervals influences higher increase in their punching force than of those boxers who train their punching force by making the 10 sec force rapidity punches. Aim of the work – to determine the influence of different explosive force training methods on boxer’s punching force. Objectives: 1. To determine the influence of 4-week explosive force training program on boxers punching force. 2. To determine the influence of 8-week explosive force training program on boxers punching force. 3. To evaluate the influence of different explosive force methods on the boxers‘ punching force. Research methods: literature analysis, testing, experiment, mathematical statistics. The experiment took 8 weeks during which two test groups two times a week developed their punching force using different methods. The control group of boxers did their training in a usual exertion and did not apply special methods for the development of their force. Conclusions: 1. The 4-week explosive force training significantly improves the punching force of 17–21 years old boxers. 2. The 8-week explosive force training by using different weights significantly improves the punching force of 17–21 years old boxers. 3. The training of force rapidity with rest intervals has a more significant influence on the punching force of the youth age (17–21 years old) boxers
