Analysis of professional tennis players backhand technique

The aim: to evaluate the professional tennis players backhand indices Objectives: 1. Evaluate and compare the professional men tennis players' one-handed and two-handed backhand performance. 2. Evaluate and compare the professional women tennis players' one-handed and two-handed backhand performance. 3. Evaluate and compare the professional tennis players' one handed and two-handed backhand indices. Hypothesis: two-handed backhand is much more effective than a one-handed backhand. Results: for both professional tennis players - men and women - backhand indicators - touchdowns without an opponent response, provoked and unprovoked errors - did not differ significantly in two-handed and one-handed backhand (p>0.05). Comparing the two-handed backhand between men and women, men did provoke more errors. French: 14.6 ± 4.4 men errors vs 10.2 ± 3.6 women errors, America: 12.7 ± 3.5 men errors vs. 9.5 ± 4.5 women errors and during Australian championship: 14.2 ± 5.1 men errors vs. 9 ± 2.3 women errors (p 0.05). 2. Backhand indicators did not differ significantly between two-handed and one-handed backhand for professional women tennis players (p>0.05). 3.
