The aim: to evaluate the influence of the long term kinesitherapy in water on overweight and obese children for body composition indexes. The methodology of the research: the weight evaluation according to body mass index percentile, body measurements, skinfold measurement, heart rate assessment. The results of the research: the kinesitherapy in water is effective reducing body size. However, the results are not statistically significant. In order to confirm these data a research with a greater amount of participants is required. Conclusions: 1. The analysis of overweight and obese children of 10-16 years of age defines that kinesitherapy in water statistically insignificantly affects the body size. 2.
