The influence of remedial massage , using different kinds of oil to decrease pains of knee joint and function, on senior people, having rheumatic pains

Objective of the research – to determine the effect of therapeutic massage treatment to knee pain relief and function. The aims of the experment: 1. To evaluate the influence of massage to decrease pains of knee joint and function with the help of oil, possesing healing properties.2.To evaluate the influence of massage to decrease pains of knee joint and function with the help of massage oil.3.To compare the influence of massage using different oils to decrease pains of knee joint and function after the applied treatment. Methods and the contingent of people taking part in the experment. There were 20 people, 5 men of expermenting and 5 men of control group. The experimenting men group 73.2±1,7, men of control group 71,6±4,4. The expermenting women group 71,6±4,1, women of control group 65,6±3,3. The women of expermenting group had pains dating to 3-8 years of age and control group dating to 2-5 years. The men of expermenting group had pains dating 2-4 years and control group dating to 2-5 years of age. People were separated into expermenting and control groups. 10 massages were applied to both groups and the whole leg was being massaged for 15 minutes. At the end of massage, remedial oil has been used for people of expermenting group and an usual oil was applied to people of control group. Both groups were of senior people. With the help of analogic quality of pains indicator, Ronald-Morris and Oswestry questionaires, the evaluation of function has been done before starting massages. After treatment 10 massages, pain and function of both groups were evaluated again. The Conclusions. 1. Pain decreased to both groups after treatment, with the help of remedial oil. 2.The state of health remained unchanged and the result wasn‘t effective , to both groups after treatment , with the help of usual oil.3. The findings were different, having used remedial and usual oils. The pain of expermenting group lowered more than that of control group people
