Correlations between coach leadership style, sport motivation and self-efficacy in the sample of adolescence of teens in sports

Work object: correlations between coach leadership style, sport motivation and self-efficacy in the sample of adolescence of teens in sports. Goal of the work: to reveal correlations between coach leadership style, sport motivation and selfefficacy in the sample of adolescence of teens in sports. Work objectives: 1. To evaluate correlations between coach leadership style and teens sport motivation. 2. To reveal correlations between coach leadership style and teens self-efficacy. 3. To explore correlation between teens motivation and self-efficacy. Reasearch hyptheses: 1. Coach leadership style correlates with sport motivation of teenagers. 2. Coach leadership style correlates with self-efficacy of teenagers. 3. Sport motivation of teenagers correlates with their self-efficacy. Work method: anonymous questionnaire Conclusions: All hypotheses of the research were confirmed. Analysis of correlations between coach leadership style and teens’ sport motivation disclosed the importance of coach Social support which is the only style correlated with intrinsic motivation but not extrinsic motivation. Positive feedback and Training instruction correlates both with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Autocratic style correlates only with amotivation scale. Analysis of correlations between coach leadership style and teens’ self-efficacy disclosed positive correlations between Social support, Positive feedback, Training instruction, and Democratic style. Autocratic style is negatively correlated with self-efficacy. Analysis of correlation between teens’ motivation and self-efficacy allowed to identify correlations between intrinsic motivation and sport self-efficacy. Intrinsic motivation to know and Intrinsic motivation to experience simulation correlates with Physical self-efficacy. Introjection correlates with Physical self-efficacy and Sport self-efficacy. Amotivation negatively correlates with self-efficacy
