Multimodal forms of expression have been added to the latest updated curriculum but doesn’t have an explicit description of the didactical questions, what, how, when, and why. You can find research about multimodal forms of expression used as a resource with reading- and writing difficulties, also for a meaningful learning, but it is missing in forms of the oral expressions. This essay examines how multimodal forms of expression is used when students are presenting oral presentations and how it is discussed in scientific research for the Swedish subject in year 4-6.
