[ES] El flujo tras cuerpos romos es una configuración típica en aplicaciones de ingeniería, caracterizada por la separación masiva de la capa límite. Ésta da lugar a una estela, que bajo determinadas circunstancias, soporta regímenes inestables. Dichos regímenes conllevan la aparición de fuerzas transversales y el desprendimiento periódico de vórtices, acarreando evidentes riesgos estructurales, como vibraciones y resonancias. A pesar de su interés, la secuencia de regímenes y transiciones que desemboca en la turbulencia en estelas tras cuerpos esbeltos de base roma no se comprende completamente.
