Vermont\u27s Farm to Plate Initiative is recognized as a national leader in food systems development activity. The initiative was originally created by act of the Vermont Legislature in 2009, which directed the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, in collaboration with a wide array of stakeholders, to develop a 10 year strategic plan to increase jobs and economic activity in the farm and food sector and to increase access to healthy, local food for all Vermonters.https://scholarworks.uvm.edu/fss2015/1007/thumbnail.jp
