International audienceThis chapter deals with advanced control methodology based on H2 control design. The controlled system and the exogeneous signals as well are considered through state-space models. The associated H2 problem is non standard (not necessarily stabilizable or detectable). The solution of this extended problem is given, with new conditions making the Riccati equation involved solvable. The continuous-time and exactly discretized problems are both considered
