Introduction of pistons with corundum layer at repair of diesel engines of diesel locomotives CHME-3

In paper the analysis of results of a fuel consumption during the exploitation tests of maneuvering diesel locomotives with serial pistons and the modernized diesel locomotive with the corundum layer pistons was made. The analysis of work of diesel locomotives in 2005-2010 has shown, that the mid-annual fuel rate on 1 km of run by the diesel locomotive with serial pistons exceeds a fuel rate the diesel locomotive with pistons with corundum a layer. Results of calculation of quantity of the fuel saved by the diesel locomotive with pistons with corundum layer, in comparison with quantity of fuel which would be spent by the diesel locomotive with serial pistons are resulted.В статье приводится анализ результатов расхода топлива при эксплуатационных испытаниях маневровых тепловозов с серийными поршнями и модернизированного тепловоза с установленными в дизель поршнями с корундовым слоем. Анализ работы тепловозов в 2005-2010 годах показал, что среднегодовой расход топлива на 1 км пробега тепловозом с серийными поршнями превышает расход топлива тепловозом с поршнями с корундовым слоем. Приведены результаты расчёта количества топлива, сэкономленного тепловозом с поршнями с корундовым слоем, по сравнению с количеством топлива, которое было бы израсходовано тепловозом с серийными поршнями
