International audienceThis paper presents a cross analysis of a grammar lesson in the second year of primary school (CE 1) starting from the professional didactics approach and the one line action approach. Two critical moments of a lesson on the location of the subject of the verb are analysed. The cross-analysis shows that the teacher is more in the semantic than in the epistemic style. She makes her pupils perceive her expectations and guides them toward the answers she expects. She thus remains in “paraphrasing” grammar.
