The focus of this article was to present the results of a study concerning the nature of elderly individuals that were giving care to those older than they themselves were or even those their own age. The stereotypes of the caregiver and the recipient were challenged. Suggestions on how to educate caregivers and to encourage caregiver with tax incentives is discussed
