The American Cancer Society stated one in eight women will develop breast cancer. Assessing quality of life (QOL) in breast cancer survivors is essential to the continuing care plan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationships among body image, sexuality, appraisal and coping, and social support in women with breast cancer. The conceptual framework is Quality of Life. The sample will consist of 50 women who have undergone breast cancer surgery at Midwestern hospital.
