Hall State University Department of Theatre and Dance presented an adaptation of Medea by Clint Mahle, who was also the director, April 9-13, 1997. I was cast as Medea, and I decided to write a thesis that followed this world premiere production from its conception to performance. This thesis discusses the production concept and documents the research that I did in preparation for the role. A copy of the script is included, and finally, there is a response to the production from Dr. Diane Rao of the American College Theatre Festival.Honors CollegeThesis (B.?.
