The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of open classroom situations in the education of hearing-impaired children in an elementary school. This was accomplished by comparing the ambient noise levels in the room to the requirements for effective education of these children. The merits, characteristics and uses of amplification is also evaluated.Honors CollegeThesis (B.?
