The stresses of first year science teachers : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

Although educators spend four years of their lives preparing for the role of a teacher, itis an obvious fact that not everything can be taught in the college classroom. To determine some of the trouble areas faced by beginning science teachers, a questionnaire was sent to all Indiana high school science departments. This survey resulted in some interesting information in nine different areas that may cause stress for first year teachers.
