Filling the blank on the form : an inclusive collection of grant writing experiences : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

The reasoning behind this study is to inform those interested in grants (either establishing them or contending for them) about who is involved and some helpful techniques in improving relations amongst them, theoretically through an increased understanding of perspectives and communication expectations. First, there is a brief introduction on the basic concepts and assembly of most grant proposals. Following that are ruminations on grant writing experiences, based on research and interviews, discussing the three main perspectives commonly involved in the grant partnership: the grantor, the grantee, and the freelance writer. Finally, the compilation of these resources culminate in a case statement and advertising campaign for a not-for-profit organization, documents which closely resemble the preliminary steps of creating a grant proposal.
