Labor forces have received a great deal of attention in sociological research. The effects of differing variables on the labor force, such as race and religion, have been studied. It seems, however, that very little information has been obtained to illustrate how age and amount of education interact to effect the female labor force in the United States. The studies in this area are particularly vague.Trends of age have been noted in the female labor force.
