OBJECTIVE: To determine the incidence of pathology-proven residual disease in adjuvant hysterectomy specimens in patients with cervical cancer, treated with chemoradiation therapy. Secondly, to assess a possible association for pathology-proven residual disease regarding the time between chemoradiation therapy and adjuvant hysterectomy.
