The purpose of this study was to develop a tool that can be utilized by physical educators, in conjunction with current lesson plans to increase physical activity. This tool, a binder created by the author, has been filled with helpful lessons, activities, and other ideas for the physical education classroom. The material within the binder was created and organized primarily for the middle school, high school, and university students.The idea behind all the material is to slowly introduce new ideas and concepts into the teaching of physical education, while slowly removing the heavy emphasis of sport-specific plans and lessons. The goal is not to totally dismiss the importance of sports skills, but more importantly, to introduce the concept...
