The focus of this project was to assess the accessibility of the Ball State University campus for people with disabilities. Specifically, accessible parking was assessed and audited in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines. The purpose of the audit was to determine the level of accessible parking for people with disabilities.This project utilized existing literature on the college mission, changing demographics on college campuses, the existing laws that support accessibility, and the definition of disability.
