Simultaneous retinal pigment epithelium tear and lamellar macular hole evolving to a full-thickness macular hole after intravitreal therapy

Retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) tear is an uncommoncomplication of neovascular age-related macular degenera-tion (nAMD) with an increasing risk in cases with pigmentepithelium detachment (PED) and may appear sponta-neously or after intravitreal therapy (IVT). Other uncommoncomplications of IVT related to nAMD are lamellar macularhole (LMH) and full-thickness macular hole (FTMH).
