The primary purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of causal relationships among risk management and project success and the moderating role of management competence. The study's definite viewpoint is the organization of the IT sector in Pakistan. The study approach was quantitative and deductive, with Sekaran (2003) estimating the sample size. The model was checked with a sample size of 227 respondents, including workers from Pakistan's IT industry organizations. Empirical findings suggest that risk management is positively correlated with project performance.
