The purpose of this thesis is to measure the performance effects in a Differentiated Service aware MPLS network. This thesis is split into four chapters. The first chapter goes into detail on the scope of the thesis, the questions asked, the significance, and the constraints of the experiment. The second chapter is a literature review of the technologies used, how they function separately and then research into how they have functioned together in other studies and experiments. The third chapter describes the process of the experiment and the steps to finding and answering the question asked in the first chapter.
