Leadership skills and beauty

This study utilizes the skills approach as a basis to explain how these four leadership skills (cognitive, interpersonal, business, and strategic skills) as well as beauty (variables that include gender, height, weight, age, personality, smile, and overall attractiveness) affects followers\u27 perceptions toward leadership effectiveness. The skills approach estimates leadership effectiveness and personal attributes helps explain the influence on followers\u27 attitudes toward their leaders. Understanding leadership helps college students realize that they are capable of being effective leaders and guides them in developing their leadership potential. Multiple regressions, hierarchical regression, and ANOVA were used to discuss the relationship between four leadership skills, beauty, and leadership effectiveness. The results suggest that business skills are the key to leaders getting higher evaluations in leadership effectiveness.
