Efficient radio resource management and Quality ofService (QoS) guarantee are very important aspects in order toprovide a good service in LTE Networks. Although the base stationperforms a smart scheduling scheme for resource allocation,the expected result could be affected due to interference, speciallyin femtocell scenarios. This article investigates the problem ofinterference in femtocell networks in LTE. The proposed methodachieves inter-cell interference mitigation though a dynamicpower self-control performed at each femtocell.
