In this article, several renowned economists (Intriligator (UCLA), Goldman (Garvard), Fischer (IMF), Menshikov (Erasmus University), Desai (Columbia), Braguinsky (Yokohama), Coulomb, Fontanel and Samson (Grenoble), as well as Ygor Gaïdar, Prime Minister of Russia and initiator of the shock therapy, present their analyses of the success of the transition.
