Early-onset schizophrenia (EOS) is a rare, severe and neurodevelopmental form of schizophrenia beginning before the age of 18. In order to better understand the complex genetic basis of this disorder, we have developed a pilot project with the main objective of clinically and genetically characterize EOS patients presenting additional neurodevelopmental disabilities. Given the clinical and genetic overlap of EOS with other neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), we paid particular attention to the genes involved in neurodevelopment.This is a multi-center study carried out from April 2014 to May 2023 in a paediatric population.
