In this paper, seismic and microtremor measurements in Nice (french riviera) are compared with numerical results of boundary element method computations. Thanks to this method, different wave types are considered (pressure, shear) and the amplification factor of seismic motion is estimated. Influence of frequency and incidence is investigated as well as location of areas of maximum amplification.
