Effondrement ou évolution de la civilisation de l’Oxus ?: Une révision de la transition de l’âge du Bronze à l’âge du Fer en Asie centrale méridionale

International audienceThe disappearance of the Oxus Civilization in southern Central Asia in the middle of the second millennium BCE represents a major break in the historical development of the area and forms an interesting study case of sociocultural transitions. Through the examination of the evolution of the ceramic productions at this period, the article discusses the impact of the interactions between the diverse cultural groups on the changes, as well as the spatiotemporal variability of the transitional processes between the Bronze and Iron Ages.La disparition de la Civilisation de l’Oxus en Asie centrale méridionale vers le milieu du second millénaire avant n. è. représente une rupture majeure dans le développement historique de cette région et constitue un cas d’étude intéressant des transitions socioculturelles.
