International audienceThis article sheds light on the processes of environmental appropriation that accompany learning in Physical Education. We base on a study with twelve school pupils during eight-lesson sea kayaking unit. In relation to the program of the course of action (Theureau, 2006), and based on stories of experience written by the school pupils, we described the evolution of their field of actions in terms of offers perceived into the environment. Our results helped us highlighting to how the qualities attributed to these offers are refined, transformed and evolve in relation with other components of the experience.
