Posthumanism aims to move away from a human-centred perspective and instead commit to a network-like agency spreading within the relationships of both human and non-human beings. The article considers the potential contribution of principles and concepts of posthumanism to the theoretical development of critical heritage studies and museology, particularly to the analysis of objects or things. The article, therefore, asks: How does the multidimensional agency of different materialities manifest as posthumanist “thingness”? How could this thingness be examined, interpreted, and presented?
