This article explores vocational teachers’ experiences of early intervention in vocational education. Early intervention in vocational education means providing support to the student as early as possible and as openly as possible. It is a process, which starts from small observations and leads to actions, which support the student. For this research, teacher students (n=20) of the Oulu UAS (Oulu University of Applied Sciences) School of Vocational Teacher Education implemented early intervention in their own work as a vocational teacher.
