This paper analyzes the diversity of urban housing concepts in Finland. Our research questions are: 1) what kind of urban housing concepts exist in Finland in 2017, 2) what megatrends do the current concepts answer to, and 3) how has the variation of housing concepts changed within the last ten years? Starting from mapping 84 actors in housing market, we distinguish 51 different concepts, most of which have been developed since 2008. Based on the main objective of the concept we divided the data into three themes: 1) new architectural housing solutions in the Finnish context, 2) concepts answering to a particular phase of life or style of living, and 3) concepts with an emphasis on economy or new kinds of financial solutions.
