Records of Galerucinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) from the lndian subcontinent. Part 1.

Records are given for 29 species of Oidini, Galerucini, Metacyclini and Hylaspini from Pakistan, northern India, Nepal and Bhutan. Meristata quadrifasciata interrupta (Kollar & Redtenbacher) is considered subspecifically distinct, Galerucella placida Baly is considered separate from G. grisescens (Joann.), and the status of Nepalogaleruca elegans angustilineafa Kimoto & Takizawa is discussed
