The theme of this article is the perception of nurses in dealing with death during care. The following problem was investigated: how is the nurse's confrontation and what are the feelings expressed by professionals regarding death? The following hypothesis was considered: “nurses do not know how to deal with the imminence of death”. The overall objective is to identify nurses' perceptions in dealing with death during care. The specific objectives are: to identify the feelings experienced and the difficulties faced by nurses who work and live with death.
