This work is devoted to the study of the functionalization of the carbon nanotubes (CNT)and to the application of the derivatives thus obtained to the development of nanomaterials, anessential topic in advanced materials science.A study of the functionalization by oxygen and fluorine of various types of CNT, obtainedby different methods of synthesis, was carried out, which enabled us to obtain tubesbifunctionalized by heteroelements.The storage of fluorine into single-wall CNT bundles could be realized under a F2 gasatmosphere, at low temperature.
