The goal of this project is developing a system that could analyze the vibration signals generated by taping the wood samples in order to estimate their mechanical properties for the main purpose of grading. The development of the project was composed of two main parts: the first part integrates develop a software application that receives and analyzes the audio signals and deliver fast and reliable mechanical properties results. The second part addresses perform the non-destructive experiments using the RPi and cheap hardware, it will contribute in introducing a new perspective of measurements.
