International audienceThe paper describes a robust pronoun resolution system for French. This system implements a strategy similar to the one used in other implemented systems such as the ones developed by Lappin and Leass (1994) or Mitkov (1998). It also obtains similar results (74.8 % of in-scope pronouns, out of 360, in an unseen corpus are correctly interpreted). We give an overview of the system (general strategy and implementation) and present the global results. In the last section, we discuss more specific results which confirm one of Baldwin's (1995) hypotheses: the preference for subject tends to be stronger in inter-sentence anaphora than in intra-sentence anaphora
