A critical review of surface water contaminated with dyes from textile industry effluent: Possible approaches

The pollution of surface water is an acute environmental problem because surface water is a primary source of drinking water. The environmental situation of the surface wate has degraded, especially regarding eutrophication, primarily caused by pollution from industry, wastewater and agricultural practices. This paper is a review on literature on the different sources of surface water pollution. Ultimately, the discussion is intended to inform of the risk of dye-contaminated wastewater discharged from the textile dyeing industry
