Climate variability and their impact on the spatio-temporal organization of precipitation. Case of the wadi Mikkes and Fez watersheds. Morocco

Morocco is characterized by a predominantly semi-arid climate with a strong Mediterranean influence. However, semi-arid and Mediterranean regions should be particularly vulnerable to climate change. A change in rainfall should result in a change in water availability. The plain of Saïs presents a zone of great water potential, unfortunately, very solicited by a very consuming agricultural activity. This article aims to decipher the impact of climate change on water resources in the study area, draining two adjacent watersheds: Oued Fez in the East (879 km²) and Mikkes in the West (1513 km²). These two watersheds originate at the level of the Causes of the Middle Atlas and cross the plain of Saïs towards the Prerifaines wrinkles. Several statistical methods are adopted to achieve our goal
