CONTRIBUTION A L’ETUDE DE L’IMPACT DE DEVELOPPEMENT DU MARCHE BOURSIER SUR LA CROISSANCE ECONOMIQUE AU MAROC

In this paper, we have attempted to examine the impact of the development of the stock market on economic growth in Morocco, under the effect of the reforms of this market which began in the early 1990s. The study showed that the Casablanca stock market contributes little to the country's economic growth. Several factors explain this situation. First, the Moroccan economy is predominated by bank loans, then the family character of Moroccan companies which hesitate to enter the market; finally, the structure of the Casablancais market does not encourage Small and medium-sized businesses and startups to use this market for lack of a market dedicated to this category of firms
