In this paper, I will talk about the current situation of multilingualism in Morocco and what isstipulated in the Moroccan Constitution. Then, I will move on to distinguish between OL vs.NL, de facto vs. de jure and touch on the related concepts of power vs. solidarity, on the onehand, and communication vs. identity. Finally, I will handle the case of Moroccan Berbervarieties in the light of these concepts
