Entrepreneurship and Territorial Development: The Reciprocal Issues?

Today, entrepreneurship is attracting the attention of researchers, politicians and policy-makers as a strategic factor in the development of the territory. Indeed, it represents an issue, sometimes a hope and systematically a wealth that responds to a social demand. However, even if the entrepreneur is a central element, it can not be taken into account in isolation. The process of action that it triggers, through its entrepreneurial intention, mobilizes resources and actors with whom it interacts in a permanent way. The reciprocal influences between the individual and the project are part of an open and complex system influenced by the territory (environment). The existing relationships, linking the needs of the entrepreneur to those of the territory, contribute to the local manufacturing of an entrepreneurial context. Therefore, attempting to understand the entrepreneurial phenomenon implies broadening its angle of view linking the entrepreneur to the context in which he operates. Thus, this research aims to explain these reciprocal interactions between entrepreneurship and territory in the process of economic development.Keywords.
