Digital books have revolutionized the way student accesses books and information. An alternative to a static e-book, is an interactive textbook designed with iBooks Author, a free Apple software program. This technology allows teachers to develop textbooks based on the needs of their students. In this study a digital interactive book—iBook (for use on the Apple iPad and iPhone)—was created to teach general chemistry laboratory for first year collage.
