La mise en valeur touristique du patrimoine saharien : Le cas de « la route des ksour »

The material and immaterial heritage of Algerian Sahara, especially the "ksour", is in danger and may disappear. The tourist promotion of this Saharan heritage can preserve it. But for this it should already take into account the fragility of space by developing a sustainable and responsible tourism to avoid the negative effects of tourism.This article will therefore focus on the role that tourism can play in enhancing the heritage of the Saharan regions. We will also ask the question of how we can develop sustainable tourism through the cultural routes projects and more specifically that of the "ksour route" in the south west of Algeria. This project was first initiated by UNESCO more broadly in West Africa and followed by a UNDP (United Nations Development Program) initiative within an integrated local development project in southwestern Algeria. As well as a tourism development project in the wilaya of Béchar set up by the Algerian government.Le patrimoine matériel et immatériel saharien en Algérie, notamment « les ksour », est en péril et risque de disparaître. La valorisation touristique de cet héritage saharien pourra le préserver. Mais pour cela il faudrait déjà prendre en considération la fragilité de l'espace en développant un tourisme durable et responsable afin d'éviter les effets négatifs du tourisme.Cet article s'intéresse au rôle que peut jouer le tourisme dans la valorisation du patrimoine des régions sahariennes. On se pose également la question de comment peut-on développer un tourisme durable à travers la mise en place des projets de routes à thème et plus spécifiquement celui de « la route des ksour » au sud-ouest de l'Algérie. Ce projet fut initié d'abord par l'Unesco de manière plus globale dans l'ouest africain et suivi par une initiative du PNUD (Programme des Nations unies pour le développement) dans un cadre de projet de développement local intégré dans le sud-ouest algérien ainsi que d'un projet d'aménagement touristique dans la wilaya de Béchar mis en place par l'Etat algérien
