Strategi pengelolaan cash waqf dalam ekonomi Islam untuk kesejahteraan sosial

Cash waqf has enormous potential for empowerment and poverty alleviation of the people, but Cash waqf has not been widely disseminated by management institutions and is still foreign among Muslims, one of the triggering factors is that the Muslim community is more familiar with the terms zakat, infaq, and shadaqah compared to Cash waqf. this is a challenge for Islamic economists to formulate the best strategy in socializing to the public as well as strategies in finding loopholes to implement Cash waqf, there are three strategies that can be done in utilizing Cash waqf, first, through the development of Cash waqf in the form of a productive business, second, Cash waqf from waqf profits, third, waqf from state-owned company reserves. With this strategy, it is hoped that it will be carried out with sharia principles so that its useful value can be used for the benefit of the community in alleviating poverty and being able to create educational and religious institutions that are needed for social and humanitarian interests
